We at Quik-Tek Software think "The Team Manager" & the "Personal Stats Diary" Software programs are the best products of their kind ever designed from the standpoint of modern computer operating systems (Windows 95/98/NT). They are true 32 bit applications. We think these products are a great and easy profit maker for dealers and wholesalers in the Sporting Goods & Awards Industries. Steve Rousseau

Part of our marketing concept includes selling these highly functional products on their advertising and promotional aspects in addition to the fine profit margins to be made from sales. These advertising and promotional aspects would be derived from what we call our "Special Edition Partners Program".

A special edition can be produced, encrypting a small logo and web address in the code of the program so that it can be seen in each program’s reports which are used on a massive scale by almost all users. The reports & logo viewing opportunities are:

  1. Home/office use- namely on screen viewing of logo/web address in printouts, and on the CD its self.
  2. The Team Season Schedule printable report. Includes all teams complete schedules.
  3. The Batting Line-up / game roster page printable report.
  4. The individual statistics page for a single player for a whole season. (All 3 categories )
  5. The individual statistics page for a single player for a single game.
  6. The team statistics page for the team for a single game. (All 3 categories)
  7. The team statistics page for the team for a whole season. (All 3 categories)
  8. The general roster telephone list print out page, with coaches and players names, phone numbers, and email addresses.
(The diary has a "diary print out function" but not a team stats page for a single game or season.)

(A PDF catalog or flyer or other document from our "Partner" could also be added to the CD for a nominal fee.)

Now, once the product is out, the additional marketing incentive, your logo and/or web address in the program, and on the key print outs, comes into play. Here are some likely numbers we estimate said will be viewed. Note: Keep in mind, these figures are based on use of the program by one team per copy for only a 4 year period. Each Team Manager can manage an infinite number of teams for an infinite number of years with a single program.

1. At home/or at work use of program with end users PC, with estimated viewing relating to logo on screen in printable reports, and on the CD-ROM.

3 viewers per team x 3 times per week. Times 15 weeks of games Total on screen viewing per team**. Times total units sold Total viewing - one year. Total viewing

4 Years *

Use in House hold. 9 X 15 = 135 X X 500 = 67,500 270,000

2. Team Schedule Print out viewing. Both practice and actual games. (Each would likely be viewed many more times by participants and others.)

30 print outs per season per team Season total each copy Total per year per team** X 500 copies  Total viewing one year. Total Viewing in 4 Years *
Team Schedule Print outs 30 X 1= 30 = 30 X 500 = 15,000 60,000

3. Game roster and batting line up print out viewing. (Players, & coaches from both team, & officials are viewers. )

Lineup print outs per game per team Season games Total per year per team** X 500 copies Total viewing one year. Total Viewing in 4 Years *
Lineup print outs 34 X 15 510 X 500 = 255,000 1,020,000

Note: Line-up viewing from said print out may actually be counted at about 8 times above amounts and would be in constant view during games.

4. Individual player game statistic print outs.

Print outs per game. (At one per player and one viewing per player) Season games Total per year per team** X 500 copies Total viewing one year Total Viewing in 4 Years *
Individual player stats print outs 15 X 15 225 X 500 = 112,500 450,000

Note: These numbers could easily be 3 times stated amounts, because is very likely that each player would show his stats to his parents, and others.

5. Individual player season statistic print outs. (assumes 4 evaluation periods)

Players Print out periods per Season "4" Total per year per team** X 500 copies Total viewing one year. Total Viewing in 4 Years *
Individual player season statistic print outs 15 15 X 4 = 60 X 500 = 30,000 120,000

Note: These numbers could easily be 3 times stated amounts, because is very likely that each player would show his stats to his parents, and others.

6. Team Game statistic print outs.(Assumes a full print out for all players based on an average team.)

  Players  Print outs per Season

8 @15 games

Total per year per team** X 500 copies Total viewing one year. Total Viewing in 4 Years *
Team Game statistic print outs 15 120 120 X 500 = 60,000 240,000

Note: Additional copies for coaches, press, league officials might add 50 % or more to these amounts.

7. Team Season Statistic print outs.(assumes 6 evaluation periods)

  Players Print outs per Season

15@6 printings

Total per year per team** X 500 copies Total

viewing one year.

Total Viewing in 4 Years *
Team Season statistic print outs 15 90 90 X 500 = 45,000 180,000

Note: These numbers could easily be 3 times stated amounts, because is very likely that each player would show and compare the print outs to his parents, and others.

8. Phone list print outs. (Assumes 1 for each parent, coaches and league officials.)

  Players, Parents, etc

40

Print outs per Season

Total per year per team** X 500 copies Total

viewing one year.

Total Viewing in 4 Years *
Phone list print outs 40 40 40 X 500 = 20,000 80,000

Total viewing of logo or web address over 4 years based on:

500 copies = 2,420,000 viewings of logo/web address

1000 copies = 4,840,000 viewings of logo/web address

10,000 copies = 48,400,000 viewings of logo/web address

Now, some more assumptions: What if 10% of viewers and users of the product and print outs remember your logo, company name or web address from these viewings at another time? What about the same for only 5 %? Or the same for only 2 % ? Internet advertising impressions can run $.01-$.03 per impression. Would it be worth a penny for a baseball/softball coach or player to view your logo and web site address, especially when he has a hard copy with it printed on it, with other pertinent information on it?

Hey, not too bad, especially when you consider you also made a lot of money getting that free advertisement, if you were a special edition distributor or dealer.

One last thought:
Does your competition have the ability to promote himself with a similar product?

Thank you for your consideration.

* = assumes the average coach will be active for 4 years. Many will use this program for 10 years or more, which is almost like forever on the Internet. Therefore, we think it would be fair to add a multiplier factor to total viewings of your logo/web address to account for after the 4 year period, maybe as much as 50 %.

We also assume only one team. Remember this powerful program (The Team Manager) can be used legally for multiple teams. Also, as with the case of many softball and baseball teams, 15 games per year is also conservative.

Note: Our "Personal Stats Diary", (a personal stats program with a built in game/career diary) is expected to out sell its companion The Team Manager,

by about 8-1.

Its is also important to note that the newest versions of these programs come with a feature that allows the user to create an "instant" web page and publish it to his web site in an amazing 1 minute and 20 seconds. Many will also publish their stats with us on the TeamReporter Site, http://www.teamreporter.com. (most logos already in the reports would likely stay on the web site also.)

Sincerely, Steve Rousseau
