Steve, along with a colleague, is currently in the process of writing
a book on e-commerce as
it relates to small businesses (particularly, sports and awards industry
dealers), Information Technology (IT) trends, future predictions, the effects
of e-commerce on sales representatives, distributors and manufacturers.
A CD-ROM will be included with the package which will contain
an e-copy of the book, free software, and demo programs, as well as many
full color, illustrated pictures.
Other topics will include the discussion of marketing over the internet (past, current, future); e-mail and its varied uses; the advantages and disadvantages of e-mail; how to use e-mail (forwarding, replying, filing, sending attachments, etc.), web pages, and policies and practices.
The exciting new world of e-commerce will be examined. Topics will include practical examples of initiation, dangers involved, legal and competitive issues, international marketing, and more. Other items scheduled to be addressed include setting up a Web site for dealers, distributors, manufacturers, sales representatives, and others. Examples will be included for the small to medium sized business to follow when building a web site and engaging e-commerce.
Steve is an awards retailer who also has a career as a Web site developer and Internet consultant.
